Candy Cane Protein Smoothie

  We have the perfect holiday smoothie that will leave you feeling satisfied and fueled to enjoy the holiday season. Our protein smoothies are easy to make, and can be made with your favorite fruits or veggies. We always add greens for an extra boost. Be sure to save crushed candy cane for the top, it adds the perfect crunch! Ingredients:
  • 1 scoop Vanilla BuiltByStength Whey Protein 
  • ½ cup strawberries ( frozen works best) 
  • ½ cup plain low-fat greek yogurt 
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • 1/2 cup ice
  • 1 crushed candy cane 
  • A few drops of peppermint extract (optional) 
  + add these ingredients to make it a weight gain smoothie:
  • ½ cup oats
  • 1  tbsp of almond butter

Instructions: Throw all of the ingredients into your favorite blender and mix until all fruit and ice are completely combined and silky. 
  • Use half of the crushed candy cane in the blender for a crunchy, fun texture. Save the other half for the top!
